Alimiyyah Program

 

The Alimiyyah Program is an in depth study of subjects such as Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Fiqh and their principles. It also includes an advanced study of classical Arabic, as well as other related disciplines. It is the equivalent of a bachelors in Islamic Stuides. 

 

The aim of the Alimiyyah curriculum is to produce scholars and leaders who are competent in the Islamic sciences such as Tafsir and Hadith whilst possessing the professional skills necessary to serve, guide and lead the Muslim community with excellence. In addition to imparting knowledge, the curriculum, and the environment within which it is taught is designed to produce scholars whose scholarship is marked by tradition, intelligence, piety, responsibility, and generosity of spirit.

 

To help us achieve our aim, we have full time boarding facilities available for male students.

Our curriculum is based of the dars-e niẓāmī syllabus which is popularly used around the world. Once the students have completed the Satanayn Course, they will be promoted to join the Alimiyyah program. The Alimiyyah program lasts for 6 years and the classes take place in the mornings between 8 am and 1 pm. However, it he last two years (Year 5 and 6) classes can continue until 3 pm.

Pre-requisites for the Alimiyyah program:

• Grade 8 

• Must be able to attend in person. We do not accommodate online learning for students.

• Must be able to read Arabic.

• Must have the ability to read write and understand English

Sanatayn Course

The Sanatayn Course is an Islamic essentials course with the aim of giving students a better overall understanding of Islam. The course content provides a comprehensive and holistic overview of the key Islamic sciences in a short and easy 2-year curriculum starting at a beginner level and working up to intermediate level. Content has been carefully selected so that key topics are covered thoroughly.

• Grade 6 

• Must be able to attend in person. We do not accommodate online learning for students.

• Must have the ability to read write and understand English
